The Assurity team – Simon Anderson, Tina Burn, Amy Langbridge and Noel Dykes – have set themselves a target time of 24-30 hours to walk the 100km at Lake Taupō on 5-6 April.

Oxfam Trailwalker New Zealand is part of an international series of 17 events held in 11 countries. It has been running in New Zealand since 2006, with nearly 300 teams taking place last year.

Calling themselves ‘Assurity Soak Testers', the foursome are challenging themselves to undergo some soak testing of their own! (Soak testing is just one of the services Assurity offers and involves testing a system with a significant load over a significant period of time to discover how it behaves under sustained use).

To ensure success in this physical and mental challenge, the team’s training schedule is well under way, having covered 62km this weekend alone.

Assurity Soak Testers have committed themselves to raising $2500 and your donation – small or large – could make all the difference. Make your donation here.

You’ll also be donating money when you purchase 2014-2015 Entertainment™ Membership (available as a Book or Digital Membership). Memberships include thousands of 50 percent and 2-for-1 offers for restaurants, cafés, arts, attractions, hotels and more.
