After three years at Majestic Tower on Willis St, our offices were beginning to feel just a little cramped. During our time there, we added over 40 people to our Wellington team – plus many new service lines.
While most of our team spend much of their time on site with clients, having them all back ‘home’ for team sessions, training and social gatherings was proving increasingly difficult. And, on a day-to-day basis, we simply didn’t have enough meeting rooms. When you have to resort to using the ‘server’ room as a backup (no pun intended), you know it’s time to move on!
So to the Todd Building on Customhouse Quay – a location that’s closer to the majority of our Wellington clients and better for our staff too. We took the vacant seventh floor and have spent the last four months redesigning and fitting out a space that’s fit for our future. We moved in on Monday 13 May.
Our new offices will accommodate the growth of our team in more ways than one. As well as providing space for over 100 people, we’ve created flexible areas that will allow us to train teams and develop individuals in-house. We’ll also be running our Assurity Graduate Programme training and our public education courses from this office.
Best of all is that we now have plenty of meeting spaces – both formal and casual – in which to collaborate, think, innovate, plan and deliver. Better.
We expect to see a lot of new and familiar faces around the place in the next few years. We’re excited and we hope to show you around our new home in the near future.
Finally, next month will also see the relocation of our Auckland offices. We’ll keep you up to speed with the ‘when and where’ in due course.
