And that’s a wrap! As Principal Sponsor of AgileNZ Conference, this year’s sell-out event held at Te Papa last Monday and Tuesday is officially over and was heralded a great success by the 415 attendees, speakers and sponsors. 

Attendees to the Assurity stand were invited to ‘Let’s have words’ with our Agile coaches within the themes of STIRR (Sustainable Transformation, Innovation, Responsiveness and Relevance). Participants could nominate their organisation to win one of three free STIRR assessments worth over $10,000.

This year’s Conference focused on ‘Delivering Digital’ with 41 speakers presenting on the four themes of Relevance, Responsiveness, Innovation and Sustainable Transformation.

Among the keynote speakers were global thought leaders such as Luke Hohmann and Mike Orzen. Lynne Cazaly’s closing keynote was on ‘Agile-ish – How to Build a Culture of Agility’ in which she incorporated attendees’ ‘random’ comments into her talk to create a very interactive and memorable end to the Conference. There were also two Lightning Talk slots and two coaching clinics over the two days.

As in previous years, the Conference also caused a buzz on social media with #AgileNZConf trending in New Zealand on Twitter with three million impressions – a huge increase of one million on last year.

With non-stop learning, knowledge sharing and great opportunities for networking, AgileNZ lived up to its reputation as the Conference for NZ’s Agile community.
