Among the high-calibre graduates from our Graduate Programme’s July 2016 intake were Eugene Khoo and Su Young Kim who have now joined our Auckland office.

Both are graduates from the University of Auckland, Eugene having majored in Information Systems and Finance and Su Young in Information Systems and Marketing.

The duo were also very active throughout university, Eugene organising events for Velocity, the University’s Entrepreneurship Programme, being a Brand Ambassador for Sony and Creative Activation and was also involved in the Investment Club, Management Consulting Club, Social Innovation, Kiwi Asian Club, ESA and AUCSA.

Having completed the intensive four-week Assurity Graduate Programme, Eugene says “I’m now feeling a lot more prepared and confident in my ability to tackle the real-life challenges in IT. I eagerly look forward to bringing about change and value for both my client and Assurity”.

Su Young was also heavily involved in University organisations like AIESEC, Auckland Microfinance Initiative and UN Youth New Zealand. His work with AIESEC saw him volunteering as New Zealand Ambassador in Gdansk, Poland and as Chief Operations Officer for AIESEC Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

In 2014, he was a Campaigns Specialist for Digital Mobile engaging in B2B and B2C sales for high-end Vodafone plans.

He says “Having only studied theories regarding the technology industry, I am very excited to see how I will be able to use what I have learnt in a real-life scenario. A lot of people have told me that they have learnt so much more in the first month or two of their careers than the time they’ve spent in university. Not having been to a client site yet, I am very much looking forward to seeing if this is the case for me!"
