Katrina Clokie, Aaron Hodder and Adam Howard are heading to the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, to present at Let’s Test Oz on 15-17 September.

The three-day Context-driven Testing conference for testers includes tutorials, session tracks and keynotes by James Bach, Fiona Charles and Keith Klain.

First up of Assurity’s trio of presenters is Aaron Hodder on Day 2 who will talk on Test Cartography: Using Maps to Guide our Testing Journey. Aaron will describe how mind-mapping software can be used as leaner test management tool to build models of the product, organise and manage the testing activities and report on the testing story to date.

Adam Howard will talk about Agency in Testing: When seeing isn’t believing, exploring the idea of the agency of the tester and its importance in high-value testing, and looking at ways to reassert that agency by examining his own experiences in varying project situations.

Katrina Clokie will discuss Black and White: Software Testing for Scientists, focusing on how to teach the curiosity and judgement of testing to those who see the world in black and white – such as in a specialist financial domain where rules are important.

To find out what Katrina, Aaron and Adam are particularly looking forward to at Let’s Test Oz, take a look at this video.
